Varisation staples are available as straight and oblique formats, specifically designed for varus osteotomy. Following surgical treatment of hallux vulgus, the requirement to correct metatarsus varus and realignment of the sesamoid bones can result in deformities. Osteotomy of the first phalanx will correct these deformities, using Varisation stainless steel staples supplied in 8 mm and 10 mm widths.
