The SPOT-Light® HER2 CISH Kit utilizes Invitrogen’s chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) technology. The CISH technology enables the pathologist to evaluate HER2 gene expression in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections using brightfield microscopy. HER2 CISH allows analysis of the genetic status of breast cancer cells within the context of tissue morphology.
