United Holdings Group has created 11 apps, available on the iTunes App Store the first week of January 2010, that claim to help with the anti-aging process. The main one will have 10 Color-Light and Sound Therapy treatments to deal with wrinkles, acne, cellulite, joint pain, sleep disorder and hair growth stimulation. The healing strategy purports to use wavelengths of light and sound to stimulate cells to produce collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer skin.

Solta Medical, Inc. has announced its European launch of the Fraxel re:store Dual laser system with the recent CE Mark approval. The new Fraxel re:store Dual system is optimized for both facial procedures and large body areas to address clearance of pigmentation and other skin conditions all in a single treatment. This CE Mark joins the registration obtained in September for Solta Medical’s Thermage CPT, the most advanced non-invasive skin tightening and contouring procedure.

American Laser Centers invited Florida clients of the now-closed Simple Aesthetics organization to visit American Laser Centers locations for a complementary treatment. In a letter to patrons of Simple Aesthetics, which has discontinued its services in South Florida, American Laser Centers Founder Rich Morgan invites them to visit any of the 13 Florida American Laser Centers clinics.

Sanofi-aventis pharmaceuticals have launched its highly anticipated anti-ageing drug, Sculptra in Kuwait following its approval from the Kuwait Ministry of Health earlier this year. Sculptra is an injectable treatment that consists of poly-L-lactic acid sterile suspension that is biocompatible and biodegradable making it easy for the body to absorb. Sculptra also stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin.
